Mathematics Revision Sessions

·         Have you got a Maths module exam coming up this summer?

·       Left it too late to start revision and can't find a tutor?

·       Just a fraction away from the top grade and need extra help?

Then you would benefit from a group revision session... 

 

What:  We will initially look over the difficult areas of the syllabus before tackling a range of past exam questions.  Emphasis is put on improving examination technique and confidence.  There is also a chance for you to bring any specific problems to the class.

 

When:  The sessions will take place during selected weekend mornings during April and May and also during the May Half-Term Week.  The sessions run from 9 am until 12 noon, and although they will be hard work they will also be informal and hopefully enjoyable. 

 

Where:  In a well equipped meeting room near the centre of Hertford.

 

Who:  There is a limit of 6 pupils in any one session, which provides an excellent opportunity for help by an experienced tutor and Head of Mathematics.  Either sign-up individually or get a group of friends together (providing you are of similar ability).

 

Price:  The sessions cost £60 for the 3 hour session (which is much cheaper than individual tuition and you should only need a few sessions -see below).  Reductions are available for early, multiple and group bookings.  Refreshments will be provided.  (part of the fee goes towards charity)

·     Higher and Foundation Levels

·     There will be non-calculator and calculator sessions.  One of each is recommended.

 

A – Level

·      Core, Mechanics and Statistics.  Each session covers a different module.  So you may require 3 or 4 (depending on modules already taken and resits).
